This quote and concept is something I’ve been thinking about recently as I have hit my 2-year mark on my content creation journey for Rise Productive. When I think about it, I've managed to keep up with this consistently for two years, which outside of my athletic career in running, I'm not sure if I've ever been able to keep up with anything like this as consistent as this.
I usually go through phases of different passion projects and this is definitely something I've found to be my favorite of all time. For me, I'm somebody who likes completing tasks but does not enjoy the process of projects. If there's not something that gets finished by the end of a day my mind works under the assumption that I failed.
I know this is not the most positive way to think about projects, however, that's how my mind works. In today's day and age, there are so many different things that come up that make us focus on how we have failed and how we are not where we want to be. I wanted to use this newsletter to showcase how mind-blowing it's been for me in the past few weeks to realize what we’ve managed to accomplish here.
The YouTube channel is nearly at 5,000 subscribers, we are at 6 times last year’s monthly podcast downloads, and the sales on the Notion templates go up every month. For someone who has made content on and off their whole life, it’s pretty amazing that I’ve found something I'm really passionate about. The main reason the growth is there from my perspective is the consistency we’ve had over the years.
This brand’s consistency has been showcased in my personal life as well with my workout routine changing from running to resistance training and lifting every day. I’ve seen a significant change in my body all by doing small but consistent habits I had avoided in the past.
In comparison to last year, we’ve grown multiple streams of income and the root of all these improvements comes from getting up early every morning and doing the same thing over and over again. While the growth may not be where I want it to ultimately be, I have passion and pride for something I’m truly proud of.
My call out for you would be to find whatever it is in your life that you have a massive passion for and get after it. Make the most of it and work on yourself each and every day. Do this and you will find success in whatever it is you do. It may take a delivery time of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 years, however, the delivery date will come. You just need to put in the work and make it happen.
