Check your own task list

  • A health score and workload meter for your list
  • Every vague, overdue or stale task, with a one-line fix
  • Copy the cleaned-up list, or download it as a CSV for Notion
  • The starter kit: a Notion template, the skill, and daily and weekly routines

This unlocks every free tool on the site. You'll also get the Rise Productive newsletter from Demetri Panici, about once a week: what I built and what changed in AI. We'll email you a link to confirm. Unsubscribe in one click.

Set it up in three steps

About ten minutes, once. After that you ask your assistant to triage, plan your day or run the weekly review, and it works in your own Notion database.

  1. Make the Notion database

    Import the template
In Notion, open Settings, then Import, then CSV (or type /csv on a page) and choose notion-task-template.csv from the kit. Map Due to a date and Effort to a number. The import guide in the kit covers the rest.
  2. Connect Notion to your assistant

    Claude
Open Customize, then Connectors, press + and add Notion. Sign in to Notion and approve access.
    Claude Code
Run claude mcp add --transport http notion https://mcp.notion.com/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.
    Codex
Add Notion’s server to ~/.codex/config.toml (the kit shows how), then run codex mcp login notion.
    ChatGPT
Connect the Notion app in ChatGPT’s settings. What it can change depends on your plan and workspace, so the kit covers a read-only fallback.
  3. Install the skill

    Claude app
Turn on code execution in Settings, then Capabilities. Then open Customize, then Skills, press +, choose Create skill, then Upload a skill, and pick the ZIP.
    Claude Code or Codex
Unzip and move the task-manager-kit folder into ~/.claude/skills/ for Claude Code, or ~/.agents/skills/ for Codex.
    Any other chat assistant
Paste the paste-in prompt from the ZIP at the start of a chat, or into its custom instructions.
